1

1 Day: Tbilisi

NOTE: This tour is mostly walking and takes about 4-5 hours. Metekhi Church and Monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali - the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Visit Europe Square to take a cable car toward Narikala Fortress and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Continue excursion to Legvtakhevi and Sulfur bath district. Visit Meydan – the central area, which used to be a shopping area of the city and nowadays is surrounded by cafes – bars. Sharden area - full of narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine-tasting bars, and souvenir shops. Optional: Visit the Wine museum - 10 EUR per person. The building where this museum is situated was built in the 17th century and was known as Karvasla - an underground city, which remained preserved without any significant damage. Optional: Wine tasting 10 EUR Optional: Cofee break – 5 EUR Continue the excursion and Cross the Glass Bridge of Peace. Walk up Shavteli street which leads to Anchiskhati church - a three-span basilica, divided by two abutments that indicate the antiquity of its construction. Nearby situated a uniquely decorated building Clock Tower and Marionette Theatre. There is a small puppet theatre inside the tower and twice a day at noon and at 7 pm you can see a 5-minute show – “The Circle of Life”. Free evening. Optional: Rent a Sulfur bathroom from 10 euros per person per hour. Tbilisi sulfur baths are a unique and unforgettable experience that should be on every traveler's bucket list. 2 Day: Tbilisi - Mtskheta

Sightseeing tour of Tbilisi. As part of the tour, you will visit: Metekhi - Church of the Blessed Virgin. It was built in the fifth century and rebuilt in the 13th century. From here you can enjoy a panoramic view of the old city, which tourists will explore in the next few hours. There is also a statue of the king, Vakhtang Gorgasali - the founder of Tbilisi. In the old town, there is a cable car that connects the new Rike Park with the Narikala fortress. For a few minutes, you will be traveling by cable car and enjoying the extraordinary view of Old Tbilisi. The top cable car station overlooks the old town and the botanical garden. Narikala Fortress - has existed since the middle of the 4th century. The fortress was built on a hill, so there is a beautiful view of the old city. The district of ​​sulfur baths and Legvtahevi is located in the heart of the city. According to the legend, the foundation of Tbilisi is connected to hot sulfur springs. Archaeological excavations were also conducted here, and the ancient layers of the city were found. Through the area passes the small river Legvtakhevi. Its beautiful canyon was hidden for decades, and only now it was reconstructed - its historical appearance was restored. Meydan is the central square of the old city, which used to be a commercial center of the city and is currently surrounded by café bars. Crossing the glass Bridge of Peace. St. Sharden with cozy café bars (for wine tasting) and souvenir shops. The clock tower of the famous puppet theater Rezo Gabriadze. Excursion of the city Mtskheta. The monuments of Mtskheta are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and represent one of the most important sights of Georgia. Visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (1010-1029). Visit the ancient temple - Jvari Monastery (VI century) on top of a hill, from where a view of the city and the confluence of two rivers Kura and Aragvi opens. Overnight in Tbilisi.

3 Day: Bodbe - Sighnaghi

10:00 Departure to Kakheti - wine region. Visit Bodbe - the convent, one of the main places of pilgrimage in Georgia, associated with the name of St. Nino (IV cent.). Sighnaghi city tour - a small town in the Alazani valley, the most romantic and beautiful city in Kakheti. It is famous for its eponymous fortress, which is included in the list of the most famous and largest fortresses of Georgia. The walls of the Sighnaghi fortress miraculously survived and today surround the old part of the city. Along the perimeter of the walls, 28 watchtowers are preserved, with a wonderful view of the Alazani Valley. Optional: Wine tasting (€ 10 per person) and a master class on baking Georgian bread and cooking traditional Georgian sweet - Churchkhela (€ 20 per person). The main ingredients for cooking are the vine, walnuts, and flour. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

4 Day: Tbilisi - Batumi

08:00 Departure to Batumi by train or by bus. 14:00 Arrival in Batumi - a city and port in Georgia, the Black Sea coast, the main tourist center of modern Georgia. Hotel accommodation. Time to rest. 17:00 City tour. Excursion of the city. Old Batumi. The growth and development of modern Batumi began in the period of Porto Franco in the 19th century and continued more rapidly. Batumi, with its port of the first rank and well-developed industry, occupied a significant place in Georgia and the Caucasus, as one of the most important transit and industrial centers. In 1903, 29 factories functioned here. Many European commercial and industrial companies, such as O.F.Gillard, Siemens and Halske, Schuft and Zimmerman, Varneke and Company, and Nobel Brothers, did their business in Batumi. Visit the Alphabet Tower - 130 m high, the purpose of the tower is to present the unique and rich culture of the country to the world. Batumi Sea Port is the largest port in Georgia. Batumi Seaside Boulevard - one of the charms of the city, founded in 1881. It stretches along the coast like a green line. Its length is about 1.5 km. The Church of St. Barbara is located near Batumi Boulevard, built by British troops. "Park on May 6" and Lake Nurigeli. "Park on May 6" is one of the charms of Batumi. The park is located around Lake Nouriel. Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin. In the 19th century, famous Georgian Catholic benefactors, the Zubalashvili brothers, built a cathedral. Today it is known as the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin. Love Sculpture "Ali and Nino". The statue of Love, which was built on the coast in the Seaside Park of Batumi, is based on one of Kurban Said's best-selling novels. The height of the statue is 9 m and weighs 7 tons. Visit one of the largest tourist attractions - "Batumi Piazza", fully executed in the Italian style. This is a small area where there are several restaurants and small boutique hotels. 5 Day: Batumi

Free day in Batumi. Optional: The Makhuntseti Waterfall and the Adjarian Wine House - $45 per person. Waterfall Makhuntseti - There are numerous waterfalls located in Georgia, even one hour wouldn't be enough to describe every one of them, but there is one famous waterfall Makhuntseti. It is considered to be the most beautiful in Adjara. The waterfalls are so beautiful that it is impossible to tear your eyes away from the flowing icy water avalanche that runs along the slopes of the Adjara Mountains. In order to see this masterpiece created by nature, it is necessary to overcome the path - the bridge and then this wonderful sight will open before us. There are many special bridges, they were built by order, during the reign of Queen Tamara, so that it was convenient to approach the waterfall. After, a visit to the Adjarian Wine House awaits you, where the tour and wine tasting will take place. Adjarian Wine House was founded in 2010 as a small winery, chateau type. It was built in the most beautiful corner of Ajara, in the Khelvachauri region, near the Ajaristskali river, on the ruins of a winery that existed in Ajara in the 18th century. Overnight in Batumi.

6 Day: Batumi - Kutaisi

Departure towards Kutaisi. On the way visit Batumi Botanical Garden. The Batumi Botanical Garden is one of the largest and richest botanical gardens in the world. Located 9 km from  Batumi in Green Cape and contains thousands of beautiful plant species. Overnight in Kutaisi.

7 Day: Kutaisi - Tbilisi

Walking tour in the center of Kutaisi. Visit Gelati Monastery. Built on high ground, from where opens a good view of the surroundings and the distant Racha -Lechkhum mountains. This is the temple of the Nativity of the Virgin of the XII century. Near two more temples of the XIII century, the belfry and the Academy. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.
