The building where this museum is situated was built in the 17th century and was known as Karvasla - an underground city, which remained preserved without any significant damage. Walk up Shavteli street which leads to Anchiskhati church - a three-span basilica, divided by two abutments that indicate the antiquity of its construction. Nearby situated a uniquely decorated building Clock Tower and Marionette Theatre. There is a small puppet theatre inside the tower and twice a day at noon and at 7 pm you can see a 5-minute show – “The Circle of Life”. Free evening. Visiting an ancient Monastery Jvari (VI century.) on the top of a hill. Visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (1010-1029 gg.). Return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Departure to Gergetis Sameba (XIV century) Trinity Church Gergeti located at an altitude of 2170 at the foot of Mount Kazbek along the Georgian Military Road in the Georgian village Gergeti, directly above the village Stepantsminda (Kazbegi). Return to Tbilisi.
