Tour Plan

Day 1. Arrival in Tbilisi

Accommodation. Tbilisi city tour. Methekhi church - In the old town recently been made cabins, which connects the new park, Rike with the Narikhala fortress. For a few minutes, you will be traveling by cabin and enjoy an unusual view of Old Tbilisi. Narikhala fortress –has existed since the mid-4th century. The fortress is built on a hill, therefore there is a splendid view of the old city. District sulfur baths and Legvtahevi – is in the center of the city. By the legend, the foundation of Tbilisi came from hot sulfur springs. There were also conducted archaeological excavations and were found ancient strata of the city. Through the area Passes the rivulet of Legvtahevi. Her beautiful canyon was hidden for decades and has only now been reconstructed - returned to its historic appearance. Meydan - the central square of the old town, which was formerly a commercial center of the city and nowadays is currently surrounded by cafe bars. The Sharden area is full of narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine-tasting bars, and souvenir shops. Rustaveli avenue. Gabriadze Theatre. Freedom square. Day 2. Kakheti – wine region

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Kakheti – wine region. Visit Monastery Bodbe. City tour in Signagi - a small town in the Alazani Valley. Georgian town Sighnaghi is in the eastern part of Kakheti, known as the City of Love. Sighnaghi was also one of Georgia’s many stops along the ancient Silk Road. Sighnaghi is just over an hour away from Tbilisi, making it a good escape from the city's busy life. Visit a local winery, and have a wine tour and tasting. All the wines are fermented and aged in qvevri, a unique Georgian vessel used to ferment and store wine.  Free evening. Overnight in Signagi or nearby.

Day 3. Ananuri – Gudauri – Stephantsminda (Kazbegi) – Tbilisi

Breakfast. Departure to Stephantsminda (Kazbegi). Visit Ananuri castle – Ananuri a castle complex on the Aragvi River in Georgia, about 45 miles from Tbilisi. Ananuri was a castle and seat of the eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area from the 13th century. The Castle was the scene of numerous battles. Visit Dariali gorge – The Darial Gorge is a river gorge on the border between Russia and Georgia. It is in the east of the base of Mount Kazbek, south of present- day Vladikavkaz. The gorge was carved by the river Terek and is approximately 13 kilometers long 15:00 Visit Gergeti trinity church - This architectural complex from the XIV century is in the village of Gergeti, at a height of 2200 m. The complex includes Holy Trinity Cathedral, constructed in the XIV century, the bell tower, and the clergy houses from the XV century. Kazbegi is a beautiful place to visit, the nature and the mountains make the view from the church breathtaking. Have dinner with Georgian Beer. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 4. Tbilisi – Mtskheta - Uplistikhe – Kutaisi

Breakfast. Departure towards Mtskheta Excursion in old town Mtsketa - Monuments of Mtskheta included in UNESCO World Heritage. Visit Jvari Monastery which is a sixth-century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta, eastern Georgia. The Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is an Orthodox Christian cathedral located in the historic town of Mtskheta, Georgia, to the northwest of the Georgian capital Tbilisi. A masterpiece of the Early and High Middle Ages. Have lunch with a glass of Georgian wine. Departure to Uplistikhe is an abandoned rock-hewn town, which once played an important role in Georgian history. The place was founded in the late Bronze Age, around 1000 BC, and continued to be inhabited until the 13th century AD. Between the 6th century BC and the 11th century AD, Uplistsikhe was one of the most important political and religious centers of pre-Christian Kartli – one of the predecessors of the Georgian state. Departure to Kutaisi. Overnight in Kutaisi.

Day 5. Kutaisi – Batumi

Breakfast. Kutaisi city tour - Visiting the ancient capital of Georgia, which is more then three thousand years old. Visit the central square and the famous Colchis Fountain. Opera House – Kutaisi opera house has recently been renovated with lines of classical statues. Drama Theatre – overlooking the picturesque central square. Continue the tour to one. Visit Bagrati cathedral - The Cathedral of the Dormition, or the Kutaisi Cathedral, more commonly known as Bagrati Cathedral, is an 11th-century cathedral in the city of Kutaisi. Have Lunch. Excursion in the Prometheus cave (with a boat ride in the caves) - one of Georgia’s natural wonders provide visitors with breathtaking examples of stalactites, stalagmites, waterfalls, cave pearls, underground rivers, and lakes. Departure to Batumi. Accommodation at the hotel. Overnight in Batumi.

Day 6. Batumi

Old Batumi - Batumi, with its first-rank port and well-developed industry, held a a significant place in Georgia and the Caucasus as one of the most important transit and industrial centers.  A lot of European commercial and industrial companies such as, “O.F.Gillard”, “Siemens and Halske”, “Schuft and Zimmerman”, “Varneke and Company”, ” and Nobel Brothers” were doing their business in Batumi. Visit the Georgian Alphabetic Tower – 130 m tall, the aim of the tower is to introduce the unique and rich culture of the country to the world. “6 May Park“ and the Nurigeli Lake. “6 May Park“ is one of the charms of Batumi. The Park is situated around Nurigeli Lake. Holy Mother Virgin’s Nativity Cathedral. In the XIX century the famous Georgian catholic benefactors, the Zubalashvili brothers, built a cathedral. Today it is known as a Holy Mother Virgin’s Nativity Cathedral. Visit One of the major tourist sights – «Batumi Piazza» fully implemented in the Italian style. This is a small area, where are located several restaurants and small boutique hotels. Every corner of the city is different. sculpture of Love “Ali and Nino”. The Love statue which was built on the Coast in Batumi Seaside Park is based on one of the best-seller novels of Kurban Said. The height of the statue is 9 m and it weighs 7 tons.mBatumi Sea Port – the largest port of Georgia and it serves as a significant oil exporter point. Lunch with local dishes. Free evening. Overnight in Batumi.

Day 7. Tbilisi – Departure

Breakfast.  Free time.  Transfer to the airport.  Departure.
